Job Description:
A company is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AP
Computer Science.
Key Responsibilities
Identify requirements for developing a high school AP Computer
Science course for a virtual school
Conduct research, author lesson content, and collaborate with the
design team to create visual aids and lab materials
Provide support in defining course structure, learning goals,
assessment methods, and overall pedagogy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; Master's in Education or related field
preferred
K-12 teaching experience, preferably in public or public charter
schools; virtual school experience is a plus
Computer Science specialization or certification
Experience teaching secondary-level Computer Science at the
advanced placement level is required
Experience in high school science curriculum design and development
is required
